Mavis' 80th surprise party

I love a surprise party and this one celebration had all the family joined together to wish their mother, grandmother and great-grandmother a very happy surprise birthday party. The gathered group of friends and family waited patiently for Mavis to arrive at the Portland Pub in Gurnard. A fine feast greeted her with champagne and oodles of sweet treats for the younger party goers. Photographs of Mavis' 80 years and tales and stories echoed around the room. I wish I could bottle the moment when the crowd shout "SURPRISE", I love it every time!!!!!
