May the forth be with you!!!! - or atleast thats what it said on the best mans boxers!!!!! What a fabulous day in a stunning location. My second visit to Morton Manor in Brading for the wedding of Jo & Martin. The couple had chosen Morton Manor as ceremony venue as well as reception location. Set in the most beautiful grounds Morton Manor offers so much opportunity for wedding photography. Jo looked absolutely stunning in a brilliant white strapless full length gown and was ably assisted by two bridesmaids dressed in deep purple and two very handsome pageboys sporting a very smart tail coats. Jo & Martin had planned to do a quick photo shoot up on Brading Downs and when we arrived the wind was blowing a hooley! But Jo had decided that it wasn't to be missed and braved the elements giving me the chance to get some stunning images of them with the bridal gown blowing in the wind - Fabulous! With light sabres, footballs and dancing Jo and Martin's wedding really ticked all their boxes and the pair had the most amazing day. I wish them all the very best for the future and look forward to seeing them again soon xxx

James' Confirmation
03rd May 2013
03rd May 2013
Its was a real treat for me to have the opportunity to capture some memories for my family for a change. My eldest son, James, was confirmed by the Bishop of Portsmouth alongside 17 other confirmees at a beautiful ceremony at Shanklin's Catholic church. A large family gathering in the church for all members and it was followed by a hot supper graciously provided by the church. A fabulous chance for families to get together to chat and to make new friends too. As an added bonus for James his Grandfather was asked to do a reading, so for us it was even more special xx

It was lovely to catch up with Katey and Luke and hear about all their wedding plans for their day at The Lakeside Park Hotel, Wootton. Katey and Luke were so nervous about having their picture taken, which is partly the reason i do a pre wedding shoot so that the couples can get used to me and the cameras, by the end of the session I could tell that they were so much more relaxed and now really looking forward to the photography on the day. Its sounds like it is going to be a very special day, so check back later on to see a glimpse of their big day xxx

Emma & Dan have chosen to have their wedding at The New Holmwood Hotel in Cowes. I am really looking forward to this as its the first time I've seen the hotel since they have built an extension which is the location for the wedding ceremony. A great venue to chose as having the Solent as your backdrop is a really lovely option. Check back later into May to see a glimpse of their day xxx

Liz and Andrew have chosen The Royal Hotel Ventnor as the setting for their forthcoming wedding in June, this is such a wonderful venue option as the hotel has stunning rooms, beautiful gardens and an amazing seaview from the viewpoint too. Check back at the end of June to see a sneak peek of the couples day xx

Debbie & Andy

20th April 2013
Debbie and Andrew's big day had arrived and I knew that we would be having lots of fun This couple are so laid back that they just wanted photos of the day rather then masses of group shots with lots of standing about, so I had the chance to try out lots of different ideas and get to join in with the fun too!!! Not a traditional wedding completely as the couple chose to leave the church on the front of a tractor and travel to the reception in full convoy with their guests, no formal sit down meal, instead homemade cupcakes and a hog roast was served, and not the traditional first dance because instead we had a huge barn dance with full Irish band - Such a laugh was had by all. I wish Deb and Andy all the very best for their future, I know they are going to be having a lot of fun and laughter along the way xxx

Paula & Stuart

Yesterday I had great pleasure in shooting the wedding of Paula & Stuart at Landguard Manor in Shanklin. Although the weather was not so kind we had such a lovely time enjoying the house and making sure we captured lots of special moments. Paula looked so pretty in a classic full length strapless gown and so did her bridesmaids in a stunning rose pink. Jo from Blushing Blooms made such pretty arrangements of flowers with pink and cream roses that fitted in with the colour scheme so well. I would like to wish the couple all the very best for the future, they made such a lovely couple xxxx

Have been really looking forward to this wedding as Penny and Kevin had chosen the stunning location of Haseley Manor for their big day. Penny looked so pretty in a full length gown with lace detailing and accompanied by her daughters as bridesmaid in a vibrant peacock blue. The weather was really kind to us and we were able to take full advantage of the surroundings for the photos. The couple were great fun to work with and everyone had an amazing day!

Chicken Noodle Scoop!!

Fame at last!!!! well not quite, but was asked to do some press work for a press agency for the big daily papers and magazines - I had to photograph a young lady that only ate Chicken noodles!!! Georgi suffers from a selective eating disorder and it has taken years to diagnose so she wanted to share her story to help others with similar disorders. Although we had a lot of fun with the shoot there is a sad element to this story as her poor diet has lead to some health issues, but now she is going to receive some help hopefully her lifestyle can improve - GOOD LUCK GEORGI!

Becki & James

06th April 2013
I had great pleasure in photographing the wedding of Becki & James. A fabulously organised event from start to finish. The ceremony was held in Holy Cross Church, Binstead followed by an amazing vintage tea reception at Morton Manor Brading. With home made cakes and sandwiches, served on bone china vintage crockery courtesy of Wight Vintage and guests being entertained by a marching band was the perfect reception that Becki and James had dreamt of, not to mention the glorious weather that we enjoyed, if only for just one day!!! Becki looked so pretty in a full length gown with lace detail and was accompanied by five bridesmaids in soft green full length dresses and a gorgeous little flower girl, not to mention the pageboys and groomsmen all looking very dashing in tail coats with co-ordinating green ties.
