Nicci & Brian

14th September 2013
I had really been looking forward to Nicci & Brian's big day as the theme was one of my favourites - THE SEASIDE!!! Nicci and Brian had chosen Gurnards Pines to host their ceremony and reception and Nicci had gone to town with the detailing from stripe chair covers to flipflops for guests,to candy floss etc etc etc!!!

I arrived at Nicci's parents house for the start of hair and make up prep and there was such a lovely relaxed atmosphere, just right for a Bride-to-be. Nicci's mum had laid on the perfect breakfast spread and Dad was calmly doing the ironing!!! Teehee!!! Nicci had chosen a Bouchic style for her look and Lauren from Level Hair Studio worked her magic and the bride looked stunning. Nicci had decided on a very fitted wedding gown with beautiful pearl detailing with the option of having a removable lace shoulder strap and her three bridesmaids were in full length mediterranean blue strapless gowns to enhance the seaside feel. Nicci and the girls all carried a posy of cream roses and gerberas with powder blue hydrangeas - stunning!

Nicci, her Dad and the girls arrived at the venue in two classic cars, the girls were in a black Zodiac and Nicci was in an electric blue Dodge Charger with a roar to make heads turn!!!

After the ceremony the three of us headed down to the beach in the Dodge - WOW a treat for me as we wheel spun away. Once on the beach we caught all the attention form the passers by on the front. We had some fun taking pictures with the beach huts and with the car then headed back to Venue for a welcome glass of Pimms.

With a roast beef dinner consumed it was then time for the beach style games to begin and the guests had so much fun playing giant Jenga and back bending with the limbo set!!! With the beach games in mind what better way to top it off then with a candy floss for all, Flossie the candy floss machine arrived with her owner Abigail and straight away the sweet treats began with Nicci being the first to make her groom Brian a yummy candy floss!!!

As the evening progressed it was time to cut the cake. This had been lovingly made by Nicci's very clever Aunt and was again a seaside creation with deck-chairs, sand and flipflops too. With a mouthful of cake, Brian scooped Nicci into his arms and headed for the dance floor as the band, "Switch", commenced the couples chosen first dance.

A wonderful day had by all and Emma Watts Photography would like to wish Nicci and Brian a very happy Honeymoon and all the very best for their future lives together xxxx
