Sarah & Lawrence
29th May 2013
This wedding was a little different for me as I started the day very early by getting the Hovercraft to Southsea for a mainland wedding Sarah and Lawrence had decided to do something new and get married at The Square Tower on Southsea Sea front. Following the ceremony we headed to the Wighlink car ferry terminal so the wedding party could head back to the IOW for the reception that was being held at Ryde Cricket Club. We were greeted by the Captain of the ferry who invited us to the Bridge for a tour. Wightlink were fantastic and had cordoned off a section with balloons and streamers for the guests and welcomed the Bride and Groom with a glass of wine. Once back on the Island we were met by Nostalgic Carriages own classic Morris Minor that took the couple and I to Appley for a photoshoot before the reception. Once at the Club house the bridal party enjoyed and game of cricket before rain stopped play! After a fabulous meal the evening started with a band playing the couples favourite songs and after the first dance to Groom joined them on stage to sing a special serenade to his new Bride - Such a wonderful day, one I will always remember xx
