Waterside Christmas swim under the stars

On the 21st December I was invited to Waterside Pool, Ryde, for their carol concert and swim under the stars event for Christmas. The pool was lit by 250 tea lights and a choir beautifully sang a traditional and modern selection of Carols, with the acoustics from the pool enhancing every note they sang! When the choir finished the roof open to a rare star light sky, as the weather even that day had been horrid! The audience donned their swimmers and swam under the stars and enjoyed the heat of the sauna too then afterwards had hot chocolate and delicious home made shortbread. A truly unique way to spend a pre Christmas evening.
